The Tuberculosis workgroup of the Border Health Consortium of the Californias brings together medical experts, public health professionals and community stakeholders to enhance the continuity of Tuberculosis care in the San Diego – Tijuana border region, focusing on the treatment of high risk tuberculosis patients in Baja California.

  • Discuss barriers of access to tuberculosis treatment in the Tijuana border region.
  • Identify solutions to solve the shortage of medication for patients with tuberculosis.
  • Promote and develop systems of continuity of high-quality TB care.
  • Discuss a current draft grant proposal to submit for funding to help build the Tuberculosis Pavilion in Tijuana.
