Binational Mental Health and Migration Symposium

On behalf of the Border Health Consortium of the Californias Mental Health workgroup, we invite you to attend a special symposium on Mental Health and Migration on October 13, 2017 at the Tijuana, B.C.  Mental Health Hospital.

The objective of the symposium is to discuss the experiences and challenges of migrants who move across the US-Mexico border and how this impacts their mental health. Providers, researchers and other experts will address important issues and propose ways we can work together to support our shared community. A special focus will include the mental health status of children who are greatly affected by migration due to an increase in anxiety, depression and behavioral and family changes.
